Find the right plan for you
Which plan you should choose depends entirely on your writing habits and goals. While we can't tell you outright which plan is best for you without knowing that, we can share some things you should consider.
First, credits don't map to words 1:1—that is, some Squibler features generate a lot of words for a few credits, and others are more credit-intensive. For example, using basic AI writing assistance uses very few credits, while generating full-length manuscript prose or filling out detailed story elements could consume quite a few.
So given that, you should consider:
  • What are your writing goals? Do you want to write a short story or a novel? And do you want to finish it in one month, or over several months?
  • How much AI support do you expect to use? Will you be using AI features occasionally, or do you want the AI to do a lot of heavy lifting—generating chapter prose for you, for example?
  • What's your budget? The Free plan is a great way to try Squibler out, but if you're serious about writing, the Plus plan unlocks full-length manuscript generation and even the ability to print physical copies of your work.
If you think you'll use AI features lightly and just want to explore the platform, the Free plan is a great starting point. If your goal is to write and finish a complete manuscript, you'll likely want at least the Plus plan. And if you're a power user who doesn't want to think about credit limits at all, Pro gives you unlimited AI credits.
There's no single right answer here. Fortunately, Squibler makes it easy to upgrade, downgrade, or cancel—so you don't need to sweat it too much.
